I suggest you take the filter housing for a hydro, the technician will inspect it and either refuse to pressure-test it if the damage is as bad as you say, or do the test. Way cheaper than buying a new filter housing.

I also found that nardi's filter tower named "ATL" comes with a build-in PMV on the cap of the tower!

My only problem is that you are not in Europe!
