Is anybody familiar with the lighthouse Marina in St. Pete. I'm looking to put my boat in high & dry storage there maybe next month. Price is about market standard, facility looks clean. Anybody have any experience with them one way or another?

Thanks.

Dave.

If you are referring to the Lighthouse Point Marina they are very close to my shop. Depending on the size of your boat the water can be shallow, but where isn't it shallow in this area? It's a short run to John's Pass and out to the Gulf. There is a boat ramp right across the channel, if you need it.

You can see the pass off in the distance from the Marina so it's probably the same one. I have a 21 foot dual console. Do you know any "authorized" Yamaha service places in that area?

Central Marine is about a mile down the road from the Marina, they are an authorized Yamaha dealer. There are other outboard mechanics we have had dealings with who do excellent work as well, if you need a refferal. They are not authorized Yamaha, however.
We have had no complaints from customers about Central Marine regarding service. The only complaint is they can get backed up and have a 4-6 week wait for service during the busy season.

That is where Captain TY leaves from is that marina. So I wouldn't mind if you put your boat there, hehehehhe. Plus that is near GulfCoastDiver - so if we ever all wanted to hook-up. Just a thought.

Nah really, he has a charter boat around here. Some of us have been out with him lately. He has rocketed to number one on many of our list for a charter. :)
