I've decided to finally bite the bullet and learn how to scuba dive. I've always wanted to try it, I've just always been a little too scared of the whole shark thing 
. I'm currently in Boston but am planning on going to south Florida at the end of March. I'll probably be in Miami. Has anyone heard of South Beach or Tarpoon Divers.? I was thinking of getting my OW certification from them but I'm really not sure who to choose. Any suggestions would be quite helpful. I was also thinking of doing part of it here and then finishing in Florida, but most of the agencies here are NAUI, SSI and YMCA and the agencies for referral that I have seen in FL or mostly PADI. Plus, I'm a grad student and it appears a little more expensive to do it that way. Any thoughts? Thanks so much!
