What would you ever use the 3-gas capability for?

I did this as a rec diver a few times and do it as a tech diver a bunch.

As a rec diver: I had one tank full of EAN32, another of EAN28, and a safety of air. All 3 were programmed in at any time, though normally "gas1" was air because I was diving mostly air at the time and only EANx off of boats. When I started cave and deco diving, my little 3-gas computer served me well. I did a stage dive with it, even: Stage full of air, mains full of EAN32, and an O2 bottle in the cavern.

Either way, when the Deep6 computer is $140 with bungee mount and three gases....no need to question it ;)

Hi tbone1004,

What's the full name of the computer? I search around for Deep6 but all that came out in the google are some Australian dive store.

Thanks.

Although I'm not tbone, I AM tbone's much better-looking buddy. Deep6 is a company started by one of the founders of Hog gear. The gear seems to be high quality and I'm looking forward to pricing info on a set of their regs....I'm a Hokie, and LOVE the color orange ;). Either way, here's their site.
