Any ideas on a relatively inexpensive dive computer that wont take my whole forearm up. Have a 100+ dives logged all using the dive tables which tends to be a pain when you are soaked wet on a dive boat with the waves rocking you. I looked at the Suunto..

Any ideas

Thx all…

so buy it! Vyper was my choice but they have a range of units. You won't be sorry.

Ordered a Suunto Mosquito myself............

Buy the Suunto. Really user friendly which is what you want in a dive computer.

I'm also a Vyper user. It's been great. Do I dare ask why you want to log 100+ dives on your computer? Might be a good idea to download them occasionally. I normally download my computer every few weeks.

After 100 dives you probably don't spend a lot of time looking at your SPG and as you likely have one I wouldn't spend the money on an AI computer. It really becomes easier to use a wrist unit to time an ascent than something on a console so stick with wrist mount. I dive with some people that swear by Oceanics. I have a Suunto Vyper and am happy with it. They are all very similar anyway. You won't have to spend a lot more for something that is nitrox capable. Suunto Vypers and the Oceanic equiv. (and also Aeris, which are very similar to the Oceanics) can be had for less than $350.

Get either a Tusa Hunter or Dive Rite Duo!
