I second going with Kaimana Divers on Oahu. Gabe & CO by far the best outfit on the Island. On Maui I would set a day up with Maui Diving Scuba Center in Lahaina. Request diving with Mike Wakashige if you can. They have a shore dive right off the pier and chance to swim with whitetip reef sharks is very high. I have serveral times with my 15 year old son. Very personal 1 on 1 experience with them. Safety is paramount and it shows. Lahaina Divers has a very big boat and in turn take out allot of divers at once so be careful of this. I second what someone said about Extended Horizons if you want a boat dive. Far less people and a top notch outfit. Good Luck and have fun!!!
