Hi all, we are trying to plan a trip to Malaysia next year (2014) and would appreciate any advice regarding good (and bad!) experiences that others have had. Any advice regarding what time of year to go would also be appreciated. We are coming from south Africa so are used to drift dives and currents so these are not much of a concern. We did some 'muck' diving in Lembeh in Indonesia last year and found this awesome, is there anywhere similar in Malaysia? We would also like some good coral and wall dives if possible. I also tend to prefer smaller family run type resorts, really don't enjoy big hotels and "spa" type resorts. Does anyone have any recommendations?
