Hi ScubaDuba1, and welcome to ScubaBoard!

Can you tell us what you are going to put in the extra pocket/D rings? And what kind of BC do you have? Most BCs have more pocket room than anyone would really need.

also, letting us know what brand/model of BC you have might help give a better answer.

I have a Scubapro Knight Hawk and it only has two very small pockets under the weight pouches. I have one of those red rattelers and that barely fits. I would like to put a back up light in a pocket. The light is the 4 c batterie type... Thanks for the help

X-Shorts

agreed, if you're diving a wetsuit xshorts could be the perfect solution!!

On my Ladyhawk I was able to slip a dive rite one-zip pocket (http://www.diverite.com/Products/ProductDetails.aspx?productID=BC2023) on the waiststrap - the webbing strap, not over the velcro part. A little smaller than I would like but it's the best I've been able to find to fit there. I stuff a small slate, backup light, and shears in it. It's meant for wider webbing so it could possibly fall off when the strap is open, even with the plastic gizmos on the ends of the straps - so I keep it buckled when I'm not wearing it.
