AM--Well if you can't concentrate on work at least you can think about eating, cleaning up your act and diving!

Crap, now why do I do this to myself? We won't be back in Lembeh until next fall. (Waaahh.) // ww

Well then Barry we shall meet face to face! ;) We are there from 24-29 March.
I will then take this opportunity to appologise in advance for the slightly noisier time you will have for your last few days as we are bringing along our 14 month old son. He is the cutest kid ever (I know every parent says that BUT I'll bet you a Bintang you will agree with me after one day ;) ) BUT he is an unstoppable force of nature.

WW I'm loving the pics but do yourself a favor and stop torturing yourself!!! ha ha

Pug83 my top five are: BRO (still not seen one even after 2 trips to Lembeh and a trip to RA), Hairy Octy, Halameda & Velvet Ghosts, Donald Duck & Bumble Bee shrimps and ... Oh I'm past 5 already..... I can see how you got to 60!! :)

Almitch Donald Duck shrimp for sure I gonna see, bumblebee check madadir site black barrell sponges they seem to like them. Halimed and velvets r mythical creatures for me.... After 15+dive trips around se asia and twice in lembeh no sightings for me despite visiting this one site repeatedly as someone saw a halimeda with a velvet! And the hairy octo and mototi well....may never see them!

Almitch....fantastic! V lucky!

Nikr I would suggest given your higher standard requirements, opt for lembeh resort, kungkungan, lembeh hills or kasawari.all have good reviews, diving will be virtually the same wherever you go. I use Twofish personally as I like the staff, the guides are great and the diving is what I go there for so becomes cost effective for me.

I love Kasawari Resort. I stay there every time I'm in Lembeh.

The interior of the bungalows are extremely elegant with modern fixtures and both indoor and outdoor bathrooms. Just lovely. And the food was excellent. I LOVED the huge camera room! AND, its house reef is Jahir, one of the BEST octo sites in the strait.

I stayed in Lembeh Hills Resort, the name has changed to Luxury Boutique Holiday Resort Indonesia | DABIRAHE - Closest to Nature - The cottage is located in the hilly area and overlooking to Lembeh strait. The dive center is under the hill. It is quite an excercise to go up and down but the resort spoiled you by providing an electric golfcart to transfer you whereever you would like to go. A driver will pick you up from the dive center after diving or pick you up from the cottage to the dive center.

The food was really good, friendly staff and I love their swimming pool area. If I return to Lembeh, certainly I will stay in this resort again.

So Two Fish is more of a mid-grade resort?

Twofish is definitely more "value for money" than the other resorts being mentioned.
It is on the same scale as NAD and Froggies. You definitely get bang for you buck at these places.

Kasawari looks amazing. A bit pricey though for my bank account.
