I'm a Fish!
Hi fellow snorkellers and scuba divers.

we finaly have a link to some pics for you.

Soon we will have finished a large web page on all the dive sites and photos in the south east of Queensland; once it is done we will place a link to it here for you all to look at.

This is a link to some pictures of one of our favourite snorkelling spots in South east Queensland in Aus.

There are other albums and tags on our photo bucket site, these are of what we do and get to enjoy for you to look at on this link.

This rock pool is only fifteen feet deep at the deepest and the reef it is in, averages one hundred and fifteen feet deep around it and is one the best scuba diving spots in Aus.

There are coral areas and lots of sharks, eagle rays, manta rays around in the deeper parts.

Nice photos - where abouts is the rock pool? I'd love to find a decent shore dive in SE Queensland.

Cheers,
Rohan.

Sorry tassie,it isn't a shore dive,it is actualy 37 kilometres from the boat ramp for us.

Hence the 115 feet deep around the reef.

The only easy to get to shore dives i know of around here, with any depth,is the section of the seaway wall about 3 hundred metres or so from the airsea rescue tower out to sea along the wall at the south port seaway,45 to 50 feet deep and the coffee rock walls at the tweed river, just past the second opening to the lake as you come in from the river bar,38ish feet.

These two are not overly dived and have a good amount of life to appreciate.

The tweed coffee rock is the best,i think so anyway.

The only other ones are amity and the bulwa drop offs, now that one is a serious shore dive,60 than 80 than a hundredish feet, thats a dive and a half.
:D
