The tiny orifice in the HP port could be clogged by a tiny speck— same for the one in the hose
If that’s the case your best shot is an ultrasonic cleaner, or maybe brushing it while blasting air through (while all the other ports/openings are plugged/closed)

Turn the tank on?
I had a similar duh moment a few days ago. I'd pulled my regulator out of long-term storage recently. Set it up on my tank the other day just so that I could jump in the pool to do a weight check. Turned the air on. Confirmed the SPG, went to take a test breath from the second.
nope.
zero airflow.

Now I'm thinking.... well it has been a very very very long time since it's been serviced....and so leaks I'd understand...but blocked????
After I thought for a minute or two, it dawned on me. A very very long time ago I'd backed off the first stage IP adjustment screw to take pressure of the seat and spring while it was collecting dust.
Yep, that would do it!

What have you checked? There are three places gas could be blocked that would prevent pressure from registering on your SPG.
a - before entering the HP chamber,
b - at the entrance to the HP port (there's only 1 HP port on a MK2)
c - somewhere after it exits the HP port
Have you hooked up a 2nd stage and checked if it gets gas from a LP port? If it doesn't, then look at the sintered filter and input to the reg. Actually, first take off the first stage and slowly crack the tank valve to make sure gas is flowing from the tank.
If the second gets gas and your tank valve works, then close the tank valve, remove the SPG hose from the HP port and crack the tank again. If nothing comes out, then report back and we'll figure out how to clear the very thin connection between the port inlet and outlet.
If gas does comes out the HP port, then work your way down. Put the SPG hose back on, but remove the SPG and spool and try again. If gas doesn't comes out the hose, then get a new hose. Otherwise, spools are cheap so replace that before replacing your SPG.
