You sure? It's only $50 for overweight. How much are weights to rent on average?

Probably 5 bucks a day...
Also, FYI, that $50 bucks is just the starting point of the overweight fees...It depends on HOW MUCH over the limit you are. I wouldn't want the trouble and wear and tear on my bag.

It's only 26 pounds. Take it with you on your carry on. That way you will be able to use exactly the weights that you want and as I said, you can't trust the weights in Florida.

The weights in Florida are no different than anywhere else. Leave your weights at home and use the ones there. They should have soft weights for you and it shouldn't be a problem.

As long as it is not liquid weights or explosive weights, TSA will not care.
