smith7052. was told that the scubapro a.i.r. 1 can be serviced useing scubapro d400 service kit. anybody ever had this done are have any more info on it? thanks in advance

The Air 1 uses the same poppet as the D300/D350/D400. Some of the o-rings differ a bit but are no big deal.

If you are going to DYI it, be extremely careful with the diaphragm. It is clipped on the bottom with a metal clip and there is not much room to work with inside the case to remove the clip and re-install it. If you are not extremely careful you can tear the diaphragm and they are no longer available anywhere.

thanks for the information. haveing the work done and the diaphragm is still good. should replace the reg but have been diveing it since 82. it has taken me a lot of places with never a miscue
