past Sunday.......7 divers, came back with 14 red snapper(largest 21 lbs, smallest 15), a couple ~10 lb. cabrera, & 2 smaller groupers.......---NO OIL, either......

Enjoy, guess the red snapper season is about over :(......and we left around 200 15+ lb. red snapper there--click link----

btw, no one got a shot on the big(?maybe 60+ lb) cabrera snapper(except me via camera--he never came close to anyone with a speargun??)---that would have really made the trip a great one..

EDIT, pic of the 2 biggest, 21 lbs each:

diver 85,

Awesome day it sounds like for the 7 of you.....?... was this off 'your' vessel or a charter? Ate my first grouper few days ago, real enjoyable!

Thanks for the trek report.....Tx. or La. waters?

Off La more than Tx(in Federal waters though)---we ran basically 170 degrees south out of the Cameron, La. jetties.......

On a friends boat, a 31' CC Ocean Master--I 'dry docked' my 29'er about 5 years ago :(.....
