Totally projecting human emotions on the mantis shrimp... it looks like it's surprised and shy since it was caught outside of its hole. :)

Thanks, Larry. I'm still going through the pics and finding stuff.

Max: I had played cat and mouse with the mantis for a while; it kept going into holes and coming out of other holes. I lost track of it. When I turned around, it was staring at me in the open. It was either curious about me or decided to put up its dukes and take care of me once and for all.
