Hit the Whiskey at dusk and dove until night. Josh Timmons was my buddy, he's hitting up the Bahamas this weekend and wanted to knock a year+ worth of dust out of his gear before flying out of the country with it. Surf was running around shin-knee high, but it was pretty much glassy. Visibilty was in the 5-8' and milky range with 80F water and a slight longshore current and surge on the bottom.
I actually remembered my compass this time around and found the wreck without any hiccups. The relief has shrunk even more, maybe a max of 4' of relief at the middle and 75' of relief(longways). I think the mast(or whatever) laying parrallel to the starboard hull, just outside the boat, has been covered completely. The stern section still has relief, but not nearly as much as just before Gustav. I missed twice on a flounder, but managed to get my knife in her the third time. Josh took an even larger one, as well as a smaller one(beginners luck!) with his knife. Aside from flounder, pinfish, spadefish, puffers, mangroves, and sheepshead were common. We found an electric ray as well as blue and stone crabs. Catfish and kingfish stirred up the bottom whenever they hit our lights. Hit a max depth of 13' for a dive lasting 59 minutes.
Still worth a dive IMO, but she's getting smaller and smaller.
