I just picked up an LP120 that needs a boot but it's 8 1/2 in. in diameter. Anyone have an idea where I can find one?

Hello Mhedman,

You might want to double check that measurement. Here is a link to a chart for most cylinders-I do not see an o.d. of 8.5" for the lp120 listed.

Here is a link to the leisurepro page that sells the boot:

XS Scuba 8. Tank Boot for Steel Tanks

I have this boot on my Worthington LP 121, 108 & 95. It works great and is specifically sold by XScuba for the XScuba Worthington line. It may or may not work on other 8" tanks, I don't know.

I take the boots off my tanks once a year to check them, I've encounted no rust or complications secondary to using a boot, 90% of my dives are saltwater. I do rinse my tanks with the hose after each day in the water. Good luck!
