Does anyone know off hand how much weight needs to be added with a 7mm hooded vest? Sorry if its been covered I couldn't find answers.

Wrap the hood up tight, fill the tub, put the hood in the tub and place weight on it until it breaks the surface.

I'm going to guess between 3-6# extra, depending on whether it's new, how big you are & what density neoprene it's made of

Let me know what I win

A tub of water and a stack of lead weights will answer that question accurately.

Get in the water without it and do a neutral bouyancy check. Put the hoodie on and repeat. Subtract the first number from the second number.
