Yes its the front zip step in. I am a medium wetsuit. I got a medium/ large hooded vest. They are cut a little bigger so eithr the same size or slightly larger should do.
I have the Camaro semi-dry and am thinking about adding the Bare sport step in vest because I hate my tuck in hood and could use the extra warmth. My buddy has a jacket with an attached hood and I am always envious.

We mostly dive the quarries in PA so It never gets really warm. I added a cheap 3mm chicken suit over new years in the FL keys and did not miss the cold water going down my back!

I'm trying to figure if I should go up a size and get the women's 8+ ( long torso) to accommodate the wetsuit or just stick with my normal sizing. Any advice?

I'm heading out to CA for some cold diving in 2weeks and need to order soon if this is what will make my dives warm.

When I ordered mine they said that they are cut to fit over your wetsuit. So try the next half size or even the same size and you should be fine. Idk about ladies sizing but mend goes up by half sizes.

Where do u dive in PA? Dutc

I have the Camaro Stingray 7mm and absolutely love it. Diving in waters that range from 51 to 65 and it does a great job of keeping me cozy.

But, I do not like the tuck-in hood.
