In response to many other post here I am concerned with the "Come one, Come all" approach that the SPG is now inspiring. I encourage newbie divers to employ the use of a paid Dive Master. I am at a lost as to why this is not used more often. There should be a better referral program for dive masters to guide new divers or out of town divers!

As I have said earlier when you go to Montana it is the custom to hire a guide to sow you the Elk herds the trails and keep you safe. Why is it that this is not used more often in Scuba?

I think there is a market for a refferal service to hire out Dive Masters to dive with you. Dive shops offer the service but I do not see why it needs to cost $300.00 plus. There are so many DM's out there that will work cheaply.

Instead of hijacking this thread I am going to start anohter...
