Just like the title I'm about 5'7" , slightly round on the waist. The only two brands I know that make a 'short' version of their suits are Waterproof (but their M and Ls start at 173cm/5'8") and Cressi (starts around 170cm/5'7"). Looking for a 5mm, 7mm, or semi dry suit.

I have heard of asian manufacturers like Bestdive but they arent readily available and the hip/waist sizes are too small)

I’m the same size. The 3mm Cressi medium size fits me perfectly. I'm planning to try on their semi-dry this week.

Thank you, sadly in UK (London) and these seem more US based. Would have to pursue the Cressi route I think
I saw the height in feet and inches and just assumed you were In the US.

Bare has dealers in the UK.

Also Europe if that's still an option.

Not sure if Pinnacle suits are available in the UK, but I have found them to be the best fit for short and round. I am 5'9" and round in the middle. I always have some extra length in the arms and legs, but not so much as to be a problem.

I briefly dived with a guy, have you met him, that would unscrew his first stage, from the din fitting
he would flood his torch and then flood yours, he just used to pull the extra length up to his knees

Some times he would even put his wetsuit on backwards

I met that guy trying on a rental wet suit in North Carolina. Said it didn't fit right, dive shop owner told him it zipped in the back..... On the dive boat, he set up his reg backwards and was so oblivious, he crossed the hoses over to the other side, rather than flipping the reg.
