I just watched this on Netflix out of morbid curiosity. It was as bad as I expected. I especially loved how the ripping current was trying to pull them down, yet their exhaust bubbles floated gently upward.

As bad as these movies are it was the 1st 47 meters down that was the straw that broke the camel's back for me to get into diving.

I knew most of it was bogus but something just clicked and I found myself super interested in what was really down there. My wife thinks I'm psycho because as someone on screen is being torn to pieces I'm claiming "I think I want to learn to dive".

It didn't have to be this movie, it just happen to be.. right place right time and all.
