I have a DR Rec Wing that has 51 lbs of lift and is bungee'd. I can
adjust the amount of tension on the bungee and control the amount
of "flap". It is useable with singles and doubles. And, no doubt some
hate it and some like it. To each their own

I'm aware of that, but many don't like bungies. I was suggesting a wing that could be set for two fixed sizes without the elastic issues found with bungies. The gusset already has the appropriate seam, they just need to add a means to keep it closed when a small wing is appropriate.

This is the first time I've ever heard anyone who "liked" bungeed BC's. There was a large camp of folks (including me) who "tolerated" the things, much like we tolerate the in-laws.

After years of diving with a bungeed BC I finally said enough is enough and got a smaller non-bungeed bladder. Oh my what a difference!
