Im going down to Dumaguete on the 18th with my family. This is my third trip there for the year. It feels like my 1st trip was years ago. Unbelievable! I guess that's how it is when you had an awesome time with the place and the people. Our friends from Siquijor Dive Safari will be hosting our trip again. We'll be going to Siquijor, Apo and Dumaguete. Hope all will work out well as usual.

I'm so excited I can't sleep anymore (99% probability of acne attack tomorrow. Shet!). Wuhoooooo!

have a blast, Gi. BTW, is lolo matt going too?

Not this time. But he'll be diving after Xmas to celebrate his 10th year anniversary - check-out nya ng OW. So, expect tears. :rofl3: It can become pretty emotional (hehehehe). He is going to kill me when he reads this!!!! :(

Btw, we did a day trip in Aquaventure last Dec 5. That was my 1st there. Nice place, good food and good service, too. Great dives as well. That was my best Twin Rocks dive! There's a drift. So many jacks, batfish and fusiliers swimming against the current. We got to swim with them cheek to cheek coz they're all just stationary.

One question, what site would you recommend for lazy, no rush, just looking for macro dive? Thanks! :dork2:

Merry Xmas dives to everybody!

'lazy, no rush, just looking for macro dive?' in Anilao?

Not much corals but critters galore dives in Basura and 'Secret bay', right in front of that new Korean resort (with the long slide).

In Dumaguete, the Bahura resort house reef and sunken car wrecks (a sanctuary) sites will sate your macro cravings.

i was supposed to goto duma myself on the 19th to 23rd but opted to cancel.
what dive outfit are you going with in duma, apo isalnd?

Already celebrated last weekend at Dive and Trek, where I did my OW. I didnt cry, I just violated the depth limits. :mooner: :D

Just got back from our trip! As usual, Apo Island never cease to amaze me. I was limited to the intro-dive friendly sites. But it's still !@$@#%$ awesome! :cool2: Daming turtles (in all shapes and sizes). Next time, will do some more grown-up dives (for the big fishies). :eyebrow:

Rab, I went with Siquijor Dive Safari since we stayed in Coco Grove in Siquijor. But even if you base in Duma, they can still assist you with your dives there and in Apo Island.

Thanks for the advice! I remember the long slide (not much regard in keeping with the aesthetics). Probably, will try Basura next time. :cool2:
