Hi Folks,

DGX seems to have dropped the price for HP 133's.
They now want only $350 for them.
I purchased a scratched one about 6 months ago for about $370 and I thought that was a bargain.
Are they clearing them out to make way for a new tank model with better dimensions and trim for divers or are they just getting cheaper since they are selling more ever since Worthington stopped manufacturing steel scuba tanks?
I like the tank since it is not too tall like a steel 120 and but still a bit heavy for a beach dive. OK if the walk is short. Maybe add it to be part of my filling and EAN mixing supply bank since I don't have a compressor.
Thanks. -T

Worthington stopped making steel scuba tanks several years ago, so I doubt that's the cause. Usually prices RISE when a competitor leaves the market. Could just be a less than popular size, so to reduce the oversupply Faber may have cut DGX a volume purchase discount being passed on to the retail customer...or maybe it's just that DGX has a surplus they're trying to reduce.

Hey, it looks like they raised the price back to $400. Fluctuating Euro to US dollar rates, maybe?
Now people will question if I saw the correct price in the first place.
(Just like that unicorn I saw last week that ate out of my hand.)
