Well, not quite, but it was the biggest one I've ever seen out in the open.

The lens I used is a fisheye lens so it exaggerates the size of anything that's close up compared to things (eg. divers) in the background. The octopus wasn't the size of a bus or anything, but I'd guess that if it was completely stretched out it would be close to 8 feet across from tentacle-tip to tip.

To be fair, it only nibbled on Mark and Andrew, it didn't actually eat them.
