I tried posting a picture the other day and failed misserably. I guess the one thing I am worse at than uw photography is computers!!!
Anyway, this is a pout fish I saw off Cape Ann in Ma July 5th. Actually saw quite a number of them that day but this is the only one that came out half decent.

It's funny. This is my first attempt with a strobe. Before all I got was backscatter. Now I have crystal clear pictures of everything(excluding this one of course) except the subject I'm trying to photograph...sigh....

That thing sure looks like a long lost relative of a wolf eel...

The p-012 housing for my new Oly D-40 is promised to arrive within a week. Since I will be taking my photos in water with ~20' of vis, (without a strobe for the time being) I am sure to be looking at some artsy looking backscatter myself.

If I get a decent wolf eel shot, I'll post it for comparison.
