Before I owned a boat I had a similar experience - first 3 attempts in a row we were weathered. 4th time was the charm.

I plan to make a couple of phone calls this week to a new captain and boat. I've used him before with decent results, including on trips to the U-Boat. The boat is larger, so I'm hopeful that we won't have as many issues with conditions.
I'll let you know if I can get a charter out there. If I do, the details will be on TDS.
Mer was right about the Saturday charter. Paddock was fun. Next time I plan to head off to the left at the end of the channel. I'm told that there is some interesting structure in that direction.
With regard to the Poling, that was the best vis I've seen in at least 3 years. You could see across the beam.
Its amazing how much nicer that wreck is when its clear.
