On July 18th and 19th the Portage Quarry in Ohio along with TA Dive Club will be hosting there 25th Annual Barbeque for the Divers Alert Network. There will be a Treasure Hunt on Saturday the 18th and the BBQ will be on Sunday. The tickets are on sale now at the Portage Quarry. There is going to be lots of prizes and a portion of the gate admissions will be donated to DAN to keep with Portage Quarry and TA Dive Clubs record of donating for the past 25 years. The water temps are great right now with 78 at the surface 68 degrees at 19' and 54 degrees at 55'. The thermocline is at 22' and the visibility is 49' at the plane. With temps like this you can actually choose weather to dive with a dry suit, wet suit, skin suit, or a DUI. Come out and Dive Portage Quarry and explore the largest selection of underwater cars, trucks, boats, structures, the only Hansa Jet, and the only underwater graveyard in OHIO!
