2014 Scallop season!!!! Who knows the honey holes!?

It's that time of year again! I didn't see a thread on this, so here it is.

Anyone know where to go in the Tampa/clearwater/NPR area? I have a buddy with a boat so that is not an issue.

Any information would be very helpful! Thanks all!

We went last sat and limited out .Go north of bayport about 5 miles and look for all the boats.

About what time did you go out? Or does it depend on the tides?

These puppies are thick! Found the honey hole and limited out with one dive!

Ate them with some angel hair pasta, peppers, parm, and light cream sauce. Delicious!

they are thick everywhere this year off crystal river head south to gomez rock area 4ft water low tide to 8ft water hight tide they are in the grass this year so if the sun isnt right they are there you just dont see them i know many guids in the area and they are limiting out in one spot
