Hope to see you there, CC!
Also hope the lake level stays up so we don't have all those steps to descend and then climb like last year!

I plan on being there. Will be volunteer staff to lead dives or do whatever they need.

I'll be there. My dives in the 68* spring water are starting to get into more than just a few minutes of deco and are getting very cold diving wet...

Susan Long, President and CEO of DUI, informed me she will be attending the DOG Rally at Windy Point on April 10/11. Come out and meet the lady in charge! Susan took my call when I wanted input on color selections and spent time putting together my dry suit configuration. Maybe that had a little to do with being selected DOG of the week, Diving Unlimited International / drysuit manufacture. :cool3:

The lake officially recorded full today meaning there will be no steps to walk down to get in the water. See the comparison photos of Windy Point between last year and this year at http://www.scubaboard.com/forums/texas-swamp-divers/328276-windy-point-then-now.html.

That's great news! ! ! !

The Lake Travis Scuba diver shuttle will be offering free rides to move your gear from the car to your shore dive area and back during the DUI Rally and Demo Days. Flag down the shuttle operator, load your equipment to the shuttle, pay your entrance fee and ride down to your dive area. Suit up in your DUI test dry suit and go for a dive. It is that simple. Need to fill the tanks with air? Load them up and take a ride to the airfill station.

The shuttle will be operating throughout the dive season while Giant Stride is out with divers. Save your energy for diving instead of burning it hauling your gear. We are there to help make your dive day more enjoyable.

Charters are running during the event. Do a dive from the shore and Giant Stride.

For Dive Around Texas (http://www.divearoundtexas.com/) participants you can get in multiple dives toward your point total.
