200bar vs 300 bar

Hello I found a good deal on some high pressure tanks. This may sound like a stupid question and may be but i am still learning gear. The tanks are 300 bar. Will i have any issues using Hog first stages on a 200 bar or 300 bar valve. Are they interchangeable. The tanks i am looking at are 300 bar.

HOG first stages come with a 300 Bar DIN male fitting, 300 Bar male fittings will work with 200 or 300 Bar Valves (female fittings)
 
Your reg need to have a 300 bar DIN fitting and you need to buy 300 Bar DIN (or for more flexibility DIN/INT) Valves
300 bar tanks are pretty cool, less weight on your belt (but in your arms while carrying them, eternal and 1/3 more air.

300 bar DIN/INT convertible valves for tanks are NOT made because it is not possible, only in 200 bar valves do you find din/yoke convertible with the removable plug.

He does NOT need 300 bar tank valves to use HOG regs, 200 or 300 Bar DIN tank valves will work.
 
A possible solution to the seemingly endless mathematical problem of what fits where under which pressure for how long is earth viewable signage on the moon.
 
I see it doesn't matter for my regs, so what would be the best option the 300bar or the 200bar. I have found some steel 120 300bar for 225 a piece. Just got hyrdo this year.

Generally speaking, the 300 bar valves are found on older steel HP tanks rated for 3500 psi tend to be a bit heavier in and out of the water. Newer steel HPs tend to have "200" bar valves (actually 232 bar) and are rated for 3442 psi and tend to be a bit lighter. The difference in buoyancy can be 6 to 10 pounds. So, if you want/need the extra weight in your tanks, the 3500 psi tanks may be the way to go. I usually dive warmer waters where tanks that are 5 pound or more negative are just too heavy for me.

The pressure rating of these cylinders is 300 Bar/4,351 PSI? Are they DOT (Department of Transportation) stamped? I have been looking for some with US standard cylinder threads. Do you know who makes them and their capacity?

The only regulator manufacturer distributing in the US that I could confirm who rates their first stages for operating at 300 Bar inlet pressures is Atomic. None of them are at risk of bursting, but the first stage seat get hammered and IP is not stable. I have answers from technicians or engineers from everyone except Apex. Even Poseidon/Dive-Rite said no.

It is all very confusing in the US because what we call 200 and 300 Bar DIN is not the maximum operating pressure. Nor does it indicate the pressure a regulator or valve is designed, tested, and warranted to operate at.

Update: I just received an E-mail confirming that all Aqualung that and Apex regulators with a DIN connector are rated and warranted for a 300 Bar/4,351 PSI inlet pressure. Basically, the Calypso is excluded — a DIN option is not available.

...all of our regulators with the exception of the Calypso are approved for use at 300 bar using the DIN connection. Our HP seat is the best in the industry and has been cycle tested at 300 bar and is completely stable and acceptable for use at that pressure. We do not have any available documentation other than the working pressures listed in the Owners Manual which are accurate.
