Hmm.. Guess I should tag my camera..

"If found, please send the memory card with contents to: John Doe, L&F Road, 12345 Dumbass" :p

If I lose my camera, which I nearly did, the photos probably would piss me off the most as well :/

In my 14+ years of diving, this was the first piece of equipment I've lost. I'm still stunned as to how fast the camera disappeared. I've had it strapped to my wrist, yet the simple act of clearing my facemask in 25 feet of water resulted in the strap coming loose enough to silently slip off my wrist and the camera with it. Only took seconds to lose it.

In hindsight (like mistakes always are), I will most definitely be placing a tag in the camera with contact information. One never knows. Lesson learned for me!

Good Luck ! Mayan curse ? In 2010 lost a camera in Mexico - irreplaceable vacation photos lost forever - we were bummed ! Then some kind couple ran up to me and my GF and said they had out camera ! I know how it feels to want back the memory card - the camera suddenly doesn't matter anymore ! I wish you the best (I was lucky).

Yes... it was a nice camera but it became completely irrelevant. I just want the footage. Congratulations to you for getting yours back. I can only hope that someone finds it (if it's been found already) and spends an hour of their time to track me down. It would be an early Christmas for me! :)

For what it's worth, it's time to go camera shopping and I like what is out there. :) But I so want the footage...
