You guys don't dive at night? (not to be sarcastic, genuine question about your PSD team policies)
 
When it’s a recovery sometimes it’s just better to wait until daylight. It can be safer for the divers/searchers and in Lilly Ponds even a little vis is better than none at all.

Sounds like all the diver came out safe. Good job.

We do dive at night. Underwater is no big deal day or night at this area for vis is nil. We were unable to keep the area safe for our surface support people. We had a helicopter assisting with the search and they had a spot light on. The prop was from the rotors actually caused a tree top (10 - 15 Ft) to break and almost hit a inflatable boat.
Operations resumed this morning. it took approx. 50 minutes to locate the first body and another 15 to locate the second.
