Very sad, and sounds like she was very experienced... but at least she was doing something she loved. Being entangled must be an awful way to go though

It is tragic and what confounds me is why the entanglement? Taking on 100M in a cold UK quarry is not a piece of cake. It is something that requires a fair amount of support. From the description she had been training up to technical levels. Condolences.

Oh dear: I was in touch with Paula wrt some TDI courses just before Christmas. When I first heard about the accident I had a nasty feeling the profile fitted her and it's very sad to have it confirmed.

My condolences and thoughts go to the family and friends.
