I have 2 late 60's early 70's Dacor Regulators. One is a 400 and the other is a 400-2 which still has the original paperwork. I am not a diver myself but a local shop owner suggested I post here as many of you were Dacor fans and would appreciate these. I have seen quite a few on eBay and other locations selling used 400's but none that were new in the box and in this condition.

I am asking $200 for both units plus shipping costs (60544)

Welcome to the board. Those regs do not have much of a following for collectors or older reg divers. Service parts are hard to come by and there are almost no dealers around that will service them. While some regs do go for high dollar on ebay, the value of those is more in the $20-30 range.

Parts are available at VintageDoubleHose now. Herman is right about the value though. Very cool nonetheless; they look great. There's a few of us out there who still dive with this reg. You should use those regs as an excuse to start diving and use them.

Not for the first stages of these regs- second stage is no problem to service. They use a special filter inside of the first stage, looks somewhat like a thick but narrow washer in addition to the common disk one that you can see. This filter is not available except for a few NOS ones which are hard to come by. I have 2 of these regs and lucked up on a stash of NOS kits a while back. Odds are if you take care of the reg you could get by with reusing the filter but you never know.

What are you telling me what it is I know what it is I'm the one who put it there

I’d love to get a new in box early 70s Olympic 400 if one is ever available!

If your sad sack comments are serious you would buy the box then something to put in it until

if one is ever available!
