Im very confused about the piston, diaphram, and environmental seal. Can someone please explain to me what they are, etc. Im looking for something that can handle really cold waters and just as good in the tropic. But I also want to understand why one is better than the other, and how to tell one from the other. Thanks

I would also recommend doing a search with either piston or diaphragm. This has been discussed and re-discussed many a times.
