ummmm, I have like 50+ of those things here, I'd of given you one for the cost of shipping

cant ebay them? I didnt think that those things were even made any more and I saw one in the dive shop so i bought it. I tried it in the pool and I liked it alot better then my regular bc.... perfect trim and everything.

Maybe i can try it out in the springs sometime soon

I have boxes of them, scubapro's and dacors and aqua lungs, plastic, metal, fiberglass etc.. they mostly only fit steels like 72's or 50's tho... i ahve some extruded plastic ones that'll work on any tank.

anyways... thanks for the fun auction, am headed to bed here for the night...

man I pity that guy for the typo, I did it once, caught it 1 hr later thank god.....

never had one go the whole week w/o knowing... sheesh....

hehheh

So did the guy say he was sending them out? That's one hell of a way to lose $4,000

Since there seems to be an identical new auction up ([ebay]120046035039[/ebay]), I suspect the pricing is intentional.

The look an awfully lot like the Sherwood Silhouette

It could be intentional , or it could be that since he's using turbo lister, he has a an error in that listing, and turbo lister automatically will update new listings unless you interevene, I think later today or pehaps already, he's figured out something went down. I dunno if that new listing will last or not.

just my 2 cents

one my 3rd rig I use a Sherwood Silhouette as my bcd, it's for quick dives in warm waters etc. love the bcd, but it's more of a back inflate vs jacket, very little up front to get in the way.

They do look similar, though the plate looks a little different:

http://www.sherwoodscuba.com/product.php?product_id=41

And the listed lifts are different (the Sherwood is 28 lbs., the Taurus 23.6). But it could well be a knockoff.

The Sherwood site lists it as a jacket style BC, though from the above description it sounds like it might behave more like the back inflated model that the Taurus is advertised as being.

I'm very curious to see how this thing looks. If it worked in cold water, it would be an even bigger bonus.
