So, by mid-summer, I expect to be hitting my 100th dive. My question is simple. If I'm diving off of a boat, how do I do my compulsory nude dive without getting arrested? ;)

What I did was to make sure I was on a boat with as many people as possible for my 100th dive. Then, after we wer already out at the dive site, I made it known that it was going to be my 100th dive and I intended to do it nude. The other people on the boat immediately took up a collection and offered it to me if I would leave my clothes on.

As a result, my diving that 5 week trip was basically free.

Do it in Maryland in some nice mild fresh water above the thermocline. Go in trunks, drop down, ditch the trunks and enjoy the hour. Beware of fish in search of a snack. It worked in Maine for #500. :)

I never did my 100th dive naked. I don't know how many people actually do. In fact, I've never done a dive naked and I really don't want to see anyone naked either after seeing how some people look climbing up the ladder in their swim suits.

Oh come on now, you're going to make me feel like a chump for burying into this and actually doing it! :)

When I did my 100th dive I doubt I was barely 15. We were hippie kids, long hair and cloths were so "the man" anyways and nobody cared because I am pretty sure everybody was naked. Now people are so hung up and homophobic, guess "the man" won this one with the stiff attitudes so many people seem to have about a little bit of skin. Get over it, and it is a long held tradition, though not universally practiced as is evidenced here.

None of the serious divers in NorCal dive nude, no matter which dive number it may be.

Boats don't have cops.
