Best service on a charter boat?

What would you say is the best service you've ever had on a charter boat? What about the crew, boat, ect... made it the best to you? I'm not looking for boat names or locations. "Service" could be food, drinks, snacks, ease of gearing up, ease of diving, comfort, good gear, helpful crew,ect.......

    Big Blue dive lights

I like the can light as well as the 250 lumen lights. I've had all of them to 220 feet and they were great. I would recommend them to anyone. Money well spent.

    Light Help... LED vs Bulb

For about that price range you could get TWO Princeton Tec Torrent Xenons. They are OK lights. They are pretty good considering that are about 40 bucks each. They use AA batteries. They also fit in a BC pocket well. That way you have a back up. Good luck.

    Apeks Tek 3 Regs????

Anyone using the Apeks Tek 3 regulators? I've been using XTX 200's for a while but the hose routing could be better( although I've never had an easier breathing reg). The tek 3's seem to have better hose routing and use the same second stages that I have been using(XTX-50 2nds). Opinions welcome.

55 Gallon Drum for lift bag

By the time you go through all the effort to make "lift bags" from 55gallon drums, why don't you look up these guys. A 500lb real lift bag is only $165 each.(a drum will pick up about 450, so these are comparable). I have several bags from them including: pontoons, elongated pontoons, pillow...

    Big Blue dive lights

I have just bought a 1300 lumens LED can light from Big Blue. Has anyone used these lights. I bought it because the price was relatively cheap, and I needed it in a hurry far a dive later this week. I have used the Big Blue 250 lumen back up lights for a while and they seem to be well made and...

    u-853 penetration

Well, I hardly think I was "stampedeing" through the wreck. There were other divers coming in behind me so I didn't want to linger and murk it up for them. I agree it is a grave and should be treated with respect, but I have no problem going in for a look. I could actually see a lot better than...

Opinions on a few fin types for Tech Diving

I always had turtle fins with OMS springs, but about 6-7 months ago I got a pair of Hollis F-1's, I think I like them better. They seem lighter, more comfortable, just as powerful, really good feedback for control.

    Unbelievable

Just sent and recieved some emails on some used steel tanks i thought about buying: ME: What size, and make are the tanks? What make are the valves. HER: They are standard size, I don't know the brand, but I'm an instructor and only bought the best. ME: Are they banded as doubles, or single...

NOAA chart wreck symbols vs. AWOIS list

I want to find a couple of wrecks that are depicted by the wreck symbol on the NOAA charts. I have tried to look at these wrecks on the AWOIS list but can't find them. I've looked for them by chart number and again by coordinates. I'm really tired of scrolling down the AWOIS list......it's...

    "walmart" undergarment

The Rocky fleece long underwear from walmart works very well as a layer. I use a poly/wool blend long underwear as inner layer, 100% merino wool long underwear middle layer and the rocky fleece as the third layer. I wear wool socks, and a pair of docker pants (they slide into the drysuit well)...
