Will be arriving SD Saturday afternoon (21 March) in advance of a conference and am looking to do some diving and break-in a new U/W camera. Only SD experience is one dive from LJS about 4 years ago. Been thinking about a boat ride to wreck alley, but would kinda prefer to spend the bucks...

Does anyone here dive Brookville Lake (Liberty, IN and points south)? Only references I can find to it are obscure Indiana DNR rules requiring a DNR scuba license - whatever that is. None of the gov sites in Indiana reveal exactly what it is or how to apply for one.

Heading for a conference in Huntsville next week and wondered with the passing of Rock Divers if there was any local scuba activity and whether I should bring the gear?

Hope this is the right place to post this... I'm going to be attending a conference in San Diego the first week of April, and would like to hook-up with some locals and dive the sites around La Jolla. Been talking to some dive shops about guided tours, but that doesn't sound nearly as much fun...

I am a new diver from Ohio and travel to Huntsville periodically on business. Wonder if anyone could offer any advice on the quarry in Madison, like when it generally gets warm enough for a 6.5 mm farmer john, and where I might look around for a local dive buddy? Thanks! Tom

I am a new diver looking for buddies/opportunities to get wet. Live about half an hour from New Paris, and can travel whatever distance a day-trip will allow. Got a lot to learn so would like to start with some simple confidence builders and go from there. Tom
