US Divers K valve made in France 60s vintage

Super nice pre 66 US Divers K valve made in France. The polished chrone us beautiful and the knob is like new. It came off a tank that was still holding air for about 10 years. This one really blings and will look awesome on a vintage tank. You can never have too much chrome! Only $25 plus...

Conshelf 21 & SE2 first stage internal differences

That makes perfect sense. I never checked to see if the body was longer due to the larger port. Thanks

What is the classroom training like these days ?

I heard they strap you in a chair and clamp your eyelids open then they force you watch instructional videos while listening to classical music.

    Scuba Junkie, Don't join it

You are not supposed to drink before you dive because diving drunk is a very bad idea. But drinking the night before and allowing time for the alcohol to leave your system is ok. If you suffer a hangover the next day and can't dive that is your fault. You are an adult and should know your...

Another breakthrough in undersea technology from Indiegogo!

I agree 4 hours is stretching it even for someone small with a low SAC. I can get over 2 hours and sometimes close to 3 out of an 80cuft in warm shallow water (about 7'-10'). I usually cut my dive not because I'm low on air but because I'm getting hungry or the parking meter is about to expire...

    Wanted ScubaPro Vintage/Older Regs

They did but they continued to sell and service them for a long time. I actually got mine in early 1998. They made tons of these so Im not sure if they were still manufacturing them at that time or just selling off old stock. v

    Wanted ScubaPro Vintage/Older Regs

Not entirely true. They made the R156 until at least 1997 hecause that's when I bought mine. I still have the revised parts list and diagram that came with it and it's also dated 1997.

Scubapro Mask 1967 Pressurizer Compact NOS!

This is a like new and never used Pressurizer Compact mask with purge in the original box with tags and even has the anti fog wipe with it. The lens is a full size 6" oval but the skirt is just slightly shorter than the regular pressurizer for less volume. This mask is like brand new in every...

    Scubapro S.O.S. 500' Depth Gauge

In great shape. Has some wear on the chrome ring from normal use. The face, crystal and rubber case and wrist strap are excellent with no rot, splits, cracks or other problems. Lettering still glows bright. Priced to sell $25 plus shipping.

    Wanted ScubaPro Vintage/Older Regs

The MK10/G250 was one of only 8 regulators that passed the US Navy performance tests in 1987. You can buy new regs that look more modern or are made of fancy titanium but you won't find many regs that perform better than what you already have. Parts will be available for the MK10 and the G250...

Relegated to the back of the dive group

Pull your gear, preferably brand new and all matching make and colors, out of your bag in the wrong order. Put your reg on the tank backwards. Wear a lot more weight than you really need. Act klutzy and drop something not valuable on the deck and then when you go to pick it up accidentally drop...

    Wanted ScubaPro Vintage/Older Regs

I have a later version with the plastic saddle too. It also has 2 hp ports like the MK10. I like the way the chrome saddles look but they do add a bit of weight to the regulator.

    Deep hole in resevoir?

Could it be a sink hole that has opened up? That is pretty common down here in Florida due to the karst geology. One recently opened up in a resevoir not far from me. I don't know about Texas geology though.
