I havent forgoten abt you just been real busy... im still considering the trade just not too sure if its what i want to do ive seen double 72's going for ~250 and i paid almost 400 for my 119 so im still debating with myself whether or not its a good deal lol .. maybe you could send me some pics...
Im really not too picky right now i just want to get into doubles to go ahead and get some experience and i feel that a set of doubles will be more beneficial too me in the long run than a single large capacity tank. i would like something in the 80 cuf and above range but ill take what i can...
I have a brand new worthington 119 i would like to trade for either two matching tanks that can be doubled or a set of already assembled doubles. im interested in whatever you have to offer...
First off..the tank in the pic has a stamp on it that says faber, this is fairly new for their tanks, and not present on their scubapro tanks. also they stopped making tanks for scubapro at least 10years ago and if you will examine the pics i posted this tank looks brand new. also i VIP, O2...
ok got some more info on it today... from the expert i spoke with it cannot be any older than 4 years bc it has a blue steel valve on it which is fairly new for faber also it is in amazing condition with all the little stamps from faber and everything. lol he originally told me it was a 117 but...

Thanks i was hoping someone would have an answer like this. i think your right .. i want to do cave but am not wild about the whole single tank thing, I would rather not do it at all if its not done right. I think i will probably just do the cavern class and spend the money i would have on the...

i have only been...
haha yes it is but its worth it i think. im not in a big hurry or anything so i dont mind waiting until i have everything i need. after all i am a fairly new diver. i was originally planning on doing just the cavern course but after many trips to the Fl springs i know i will want to go farther...
Im planning on taking a cavern and Intro to cave (assuming the cavern portion goes well) in a few months and im trying to decide what to do about tanks selection. I would really like to go ahead and get a doubles set up because i feel that in the long run that is what i will be diving... but...
durring the ride i stayed inside the covered area and sat sideways at a sort of rap-a-round table it was not any higher or lower than the main deck and i could see the horizon so that helped but i did notice that sitting sideways kept the rocking from really messing me up it was less noticeable...
yeah the ss plate seems like a good option i just am not wild about having to switch back and forth but i guess thats the cheaper alternative. I also did not realize the salt water was affecting my buoyancy that much i figured at the most 2-3 lbs not 6-7 so thats good to know.
Thanks
Wow guys thanks for all the great advice this is exactly what i was looking for the scopalomine patch sounds like something i need to try as well as the ginger candies i dont really know what more to do once on the boat bc as u said trying to gear up on a rocking boat is a recipe for sea...
sorry i should have also mentioned my rig is set up for fresh water. so its actually an alum 80 + salt water. IDK how much difference that makes but i was constantly finning to stay down at the safety stop w/ ~900psi im my tank. Weight belt would be the easiest but it really pulls my hips down...
