That's weird? One of the people I dive with has had the same hydraulic QD w for 18 years and it still doesn't leak.

I while back I bought a hp hose with brass QD from dive commercial international. It's supposed to be a bail out whip. I ended up bringing it back becasue it leaked air when not connected. We ended up testing 15 hoses and all of them leaked until finally, one didn't leak. A few weeks...

QD so when diving from a boat or dock I can pass up the mask and then take off my gear and ten climb out without possibly destroying my mask :(

no. Even ten small holes wont let out the air well enough and then I have ten holes in my hood and if i dont wana use my full face mask I have a very cold head.
