    ISCAN---> Meg?

The ISCAN APECS 4 head hasn't been announced yet. People have said things about it, but it hasn't been announced yet. How much diving do you plan to do below 200'?

We were wondering what you were up to. I don't think we noticed.

why tribolube 66 not for CCR?

From another forum: So tribolube 66 would be good for things like the shadowmount fittings ISC makes, etc.

    GUE's stance on CCR

Warning: I'm a novice CCR diver, commenting on things I haven't seen people mention yet. ECCRs are better at maintaining a setpoint (my pathfinder will keep me at a 1.2/1.3 PPO2 within a much smaller margin than me manually adding O2 ever could). European certification standards require eCCR...

Nitrox or not for God's Pocket ?

Just came back too - the nitrox wasn't unreasonable, but they do want you to decide fairly early on - some of the sites are more accessible if everyone is on it though.

    HMCS Annapolis

Because if turns out to be hazardous, you can't really get volunteers to remove it.

    Head Mounted Camera?

Head footage tends to be rather nauseating. Excessive head movement tends to promote motion sickness in your viewers.

    Vancouver RB pilots

Is there a community the rebreather pilots of Vancouver tend to hang around in? Contemplating getting a pathfinder.

SPGs with Metric and Imperial on them

This particular situation is for stage bottles, and for divers using brass and glass SPGs - no consoles. Thanks though.

SPGs with Metric and Imperial on them

Apeks used to make a B&G SPG with both imperial and metric on it, but it looks like they don't sell these anymore. Anyone know of anyone manufacturing such a product?

When doing dives, do you feel more clear-headed on Nitrox?

Nope. Feel the same. If anything the extra oxygen should have a higher narcotic potential? Or has this been disproven yet?

    30-40 dives and rebreather certified?!

"20 logged dives" - some of us don't bother logging dives on paper. 20 is a pretty easy number to get if you've say been diving for years and years and never bothered to get certified, but now want to do something new and the instructor wants you to have advanced openwater/whatever, or if...

Breathing 80% O2 while waiting for buddy to finish deco

Ah, but O2 fires can happen at 80%(or less) too, so..? What steps are you doing now to minimize the adiabatic compression?

Did you call around? The parts kits might be generic from a similar product.

Which local shop for OW cert

If you live dt, IDC's probably your best bet - getting to ocean quest or the edge before they close on a normal day of the week is going to be painful unless you leave dt at 4:30, with all the traffic. IDC's open till 7 most nights. You can't really go wrong with IDC, Ocean Quest or the Edge...

Why did you go Tech, or not?

A slowly progressing(that's not a bad thing) desire to be able to wreck dive - decompression obligations are a fact with it. Task management experience under a supervised situation has helped me quite a bit overall too.

    Surface support station, whose responsibility?

I'm curious how you get into 'accidental deco obligations' while knowing the NDL of the dive you're trying to do, as well as the gas management necessary to execute the dive?

    DUI venting from neck seal

Are you purging the suit after zipping it up? If you just close it there's going to be a lot of air in there and that'll come right off if you jump into the water.
