I have been using MacDive for a number of years and all/most of my dives are logged in MacDive. Just ordered two Shearwater Teric computers with AI. Our previous computers were getting close to 20 years old and no downloading of dive info - had to manually log our dives into MacDive each trip...
I'm straying a little on this thread. Does the Teric also come with the screen protector pre-installed? If so, has that always been the case or did that change at some point in Shearwater's manufacturing with the Teric?
EDIT: Found my own answer on Shearwater's website. Looks like Shearwater...
For those diving a Teric with AI, I'm looking for hands-on feedback on how well the Teric handles the AI transmitter being mounted directly to the right HP port and the Teric being worn on the left wrist.
This is a helpful chart from the above post for comparing first dives under Fused RGBM 2 versus the other mainstream models. The differences are relatively close (closer than I thought they might be). As raised in that post, I too am curious if there is any further comparison information for...
Always a bit of guess but I'd guess you're likely okay with the Large. I'm bit larger and went with the XL and it fit great. I used Amazon, who is a third party seller for Leisure Pro. With Amazon Prime, it was free shipping and if it didn't fit, easy return/exchange. Same goes if you...
Back more than 40 years ago when I was a kid growing up in Colts Neck, NJ, we'd go to Big Brook and find shark teeth fossils. I had not thought about that until I saw your post. Thanks

Thought I'd follow up this post with some info. I ended up going with the Scubapro Sport Steamer 2.5 mm full wetsuit and was really impressed with it. Very impressive for the 175 price point. The fit was really good. Very comfortable. Held warmth very well and seems durable. The construction...
I just picked up and dived a Scubapro Sport Steamer 2.5 mm full wetsuit and was really impressed with it. It fit great and was very comfortable. The construction uses glued and blind stitched seams, which keeps water from flowing through the seams - so it held it's warmth very well. I was...
I found that Ocean Frontiers between Gun Bay and East End rents tanks to take off site. Definitely will try to get some boat dives in on that side of the island but we always enjoy fun and challenging shore dive opportunities. We do have two kayaks that could reduce some swims a tad.
When hit...
Will be visiting Grand Cayman and staying in a home on the north side. I'm looking for information on shore dive sites located on the north side and on the east side. I'm aware of Babylon as a potential shore dive. Are there others recommended?
Thanks
Agree with all the comments above regarding computers. Arguably, PDCs are more proficient at tracking and planning the real-time information. But, recalling what you know about the tables is always good and may help in a pinch. Knowledge is good and it's something you can easily learn at home...
These Nato style straps are really awesome; just started using one on my dive computer after the strap broke (no surprise given the age of it). I picked one up from Panatime and have been pleased with the quality of the materials and the construction. Plus, for some reason Panatime's Nato...
I broadened the scope of this thread to add the Waterproof W30 2.5 mm since that seems like a good contender as well for a 2.5 mm wetsuit. Hoping some folks have experiences or thoughts with regard to either or both of these.
Thanks
In the market for a warm water wetsuit and was eyeing the Waterproof W30 2.5 mm and the Scubapro Sport Steamer 2.5 mm. Interested in hearing anyone's experiences with these two wetsuits. Which is the better choice?
