so far its got to be; 1) slate that was a waste. 2) wrist compass before I bought gauges with a compass. another waste and uncomfortable. 3) small dive light I've used it twice and it's broken twice I got to take it back to my LDS.

I dove with 3MM in a spring in Dominican Republic it was cold but not unbearable. I also use this wet suit for my dives in they keys and it gives me the protection I like.I'm glad I didn't buy a shorty this 3mm has been very versatile for me.

every city,county or municipality is different and runs differently your best bet is to ask your local police and fire department. you may have to choose between both paths or both paths may be the same it all depends where you live. Gary D hit it right on the money.
