I'm a Fish!
not sure if anyone is having an issue with this, but my new i770r is showing an elevation of 2 when I’m in dive mode. The computer was activated at my home in El Paso, 3700 ft. I have not taken down to sea level or to our dive location at the Blue Hole in Santa Rosa which is at 4700. Is the computer supposed to show actual elevation, is the number 2 it’s showing the current elevation algorithm setting? The owners manual does not really say. Any help would be appreciated before I have to send it in to AL for no reason.

Thanks, Dave

Altitude adjustment is automatic. Page 99 of the manual lists the ranges. 3,700 feet falls within EL2.
Page 93 goes into a lot of detail re elevation, including how it uses elevation to determine fresh or salt water.

Thank you, I completely missed that table!! Appreciate the help.

Dave
