all the sudden this afternoon I'm getting this on Firefox 10.0.4 when I go to Scubaboard.com . Works fine with Internet Explorer.

403 Forbidden

Request forbidden by administrative rules.

Anyone else noticing this?

Not that, but my status sometimes shows to me and sometimes it doesn't

1. Specifically what URL?

2. Try the latest Firefox.

Ok... Firefox at home works fine..... **weird**

I can see my work network "blocking" SB on the network... but if they did that, then Internet Explorer would be blocked also from Scubaboard.com

so when I get 403 Forbidden

Request forbidden by administrative rules.

Does that mean it communicated with the server and that the server (Scubaboard.com says my contact/ip/request to download HTML page was forbidden?

tried SEVERAL URL's. (space inserted in domain name to show URL).

www .scubaboard.com
http://www. scubaboard.com/forums/
http://www. scubaboard.com/forums/usercp.php
http://www. scubaboard.com/forums/private.php

also tried several different threads.

I have had that several times from work as well when using Firefox. However at the same time IE gives me a server timeout error.

Steve... I checked the log, and don't see anything. PM me your work IP, so I don't have to try to figure it out, and I'll check the error log specifically for your IP and see if anything comes up.

James. Your complaint is about a separate issue, which I believe I resolved the other day. The timeout was being reached, has that happened since Tuesday?

In the future, you should post a different thread, so not to confuse the original issue in the thread with is the mysterious error 403.

Thanks.

Sorry. I thought my 403 error was the same as his 403 error both in Firefox.

Can I answer your questions here? If so, yes, it was happening yesterday in IE. If not, feel free to delete my response.

I also encounter that problem too before in other web site I visit, isn't that someone hacked this site too?
