too sad, i also saw them first in my last trip to Lembeh last November,
when it was staying at one spot i got some nice shots with my G10.




so maybe next time you´re more lucky.

btw. trip to Komodo starts in 12 days....:wink:
 
I know what you mean. For such a colorful creature I really didn't get any great shots either but it great fun just sitting there watching it move around and snare food. If your camera has video capability try that.
 
My buddy got a great shot of one before....I was hoping to replicate that bit of luck...I was a bit hindered by the fact that I was getting low on air since this happened on our way back to our exit

Here are some recent shots I got of a flamboyant cuttlefish in Anilao, Philippines.

Flamboyant Cuttlefish are best seen on video because the undulating waves of color changes are much easier to capture on video.
